Hey there! This is the beginning of the Las Vegas Paranormal Blog. This blog is my attempt to explore the paranormal in and around Las Vegas, Nevada and beyond. Topics that will be explored here will be local hauntings, UFO sightings, little known facts about Vegas, and anything else that I think might interest you as a reader.
I am new to this, so I am no Loren Coleman of Cryptomundo, or Nick Redfern. However, I will do my best to entertain and inform you as a reader, but I want this to be a two way street and would like to learn from you as a reader as well, so please leave your comments on each post.
I want to start this blog with an inquiry. I have been curious about hauntings in every locale that I have lived in. While exploring the Internet for hauntings around Las Vegas I came upon a reported haunting on the Shadowlands Website . The report that I found most interesting was the entry about the Little Choo Choo Daycare. I am not sure why I find this one so interesting. It could be because I have children myself and my mother ran a daycare while I was growing up, or it could be the fact that I am unable to find any reference to this daycare anywhere else, but on this web page. I have done searches to find news stories referencing anything that happened at this daycare and I have looked it up on mapquest, the white pages etc. I tend to be a rather tenacious person and I am on a quest to find where this place was/is and what exactly happened here.
So, here is my request: if you know anything about the Little Choo Daycare that was/is located in Las Vegas, Nevada please leave a comment regarding this place. Or if you have any ideas where else I can look for this place I would appreciate that help as well.

ReplyDeletebut i know a place thats haunted its a park called foxridge park it is beleved that theres this at midnight a little boy who swings on the swing at night and when you come up to it it will turn demond/devil and when you walk behind the park you will see shadows or turn and look you might see some hopes it helps for your blog :D
I went there as a child! I just somehow came across this choo choo child care last nite. I have not slept & started looking more. I have seen & encountered the boy, my mother was very very disturbed by this, as I later tried to kept contacts I was taken to counseling (for nothing!) It had turned out my stepfather had used to play on that train w/ his cousin that had passed away under uncertain conformations.?? I knew him & believe he has come back to the place he was happiest??

ReplyDeletewell...it looks like a regular house in a residential neighborhood. The back was an empty dirt lot when we drove by it..and I have learned the back area now belongs to the Elk's Lodge nearby.
ReplyDeleteI drove by the house with my brother one day and it is located behind Hyde Park middle school and the fire station. It looks run down and vacant since it is boarded up. I think the given address on Wynn rd is wrong. Maybe it's to mislead the curious from showing up at all hours of the night to see the house.
ReplyDeleteI grew up in that neighborhood. When i was young early 90's my friends and i found an opening in the gate at Hyde Park and went in. That place looked as if the people left in a hurry everything was still there. If its the same daycare everyone is speaking of. Very spooky!
