Here is a link to one of my favorite blogs: Phantoms and Monsters. It is about a bar in Colorado Springs, CO where a 3 inch hole appeared in its roof. As of yet there appears to be no explanation as to what happened.

A&E Paranormal Cops

A&E has announced a new show to come out about Chicago area police officers who "moonlight" as paranormal Investigators. The show will be called Paranormal Cops. It sounds like another knock-off of Ghost Hunters, but I like this twist a lot. These people are law enforcement officers. They are putting a lot on the line to do this. They face ridicule at work, but they are also very credible when it comes to witnesses of paranormal phenomenon. I am very curious to see how this show turns out. There is currently no word on when this series will premiere.

UFO International Congress

I just got word about the UFO International Congress which will be held in Laughlin, Nevada. Laughlin is a nice town that runs along the Colorado River south of Las Vegas.

The Congress sounds like it will be very interesting. There will be presentations on conspiracy theories, UFO Government Disclosure, and Secret Nazi projects concerning "The Bell," a device that could provide "free energy."

Some of the names of the speakers include: Ed Grimsley (Using Nightvision to spot UFOs) and Dr. Lynne Kitei M.D. (The Phoenix Lights). There is a full package that includes 8 nights at the Aquarius and 7 days of presentations. They are also offering a la carte tickets as well. Check it out! It sounds like it will be a lot of fun!

First entry and Little Choo Choo Daycare

Hey there! This is the beginning of the Las Vegas Paranormal Blog. This blog is my attempt to explore the paranormal in and around Las Vegas, Nevada and beyond. Topics that will be explored here will be local hauntings, UFO sightings, little known facts about Vegas, and anything else that I think might interest you as a reader.

I am new to this, so I am no Loren Coleman of Cryptomundo, or Nick Redfern. However, I will do my best to entertain and inform you as a reader, but I want this to be a two way street and would like to learn from you as a reader as well, so please leave your comments on each post.

I want to start this blog with an inquiry. I have been curious about hauntings in every locale that I have lived in. While exploring the Internet for hauntings around Las Vegas I came upon a reported haunting on the Shadowlands Website . The report that I found most interesting was the entry about the Little Choo Choo Daycare. I am not sure why I find this one so interesting. It could be because I have children myself and my mother ran a daycare while I was growing up, or it could be the fact that I am unable to find any reference to this daycare anywhere else, but on this web page. I have done searches to find news stories referencing anything that happened at this daycare and I have looked it up on mapquest, the white pages etc. I tend to be a rather tenacious person and I am on a quest to find where this place was/is and what exactly happened here.

So, here is my request: if you know anything about the Little Choo Daycare that was/is located in Las Vegas, Nevada please leave a comment regarding this place. Or if you have any ideas where else I can look for this place I would appreciate that help as well.
